Hello – I a writing from Sarasota Florida in the U.S. where I work pricing art in a very special consignment store; a consignor has just brought me one of your gorgeous works -of a young girl feeding a bird to a winged cat! It appears to be a work on silk, is signed in lower right and initials EA in lower left, both in gold…I am very unsure of how to price and would love your input…your work is fabulous! Thank you so much in advance…

What you have in hand is not a silk painting but an official reproduction : a signed lithograph of a painting named “Rêve de Chat” (A cat’s dream). The original silk painting of “Rêve de Chat” is a part of my private collection and is not for sale. The lithographs have been sold to 220 copies, signed in the lower right corner with a golden pen and numbered from 1 to 220 in the lower left corner. The “EA” are not initials but means “Epreuve d’Artiste”, it correspond to twenty additionnal lithographs that the artist can dispose of for himself. They are worth the same as the numbered lithograph.
In the case of this model, they were worth 300 euros, measures 84×60 cm and have 15 color layers.
I hope this will help you in your expertise.
